My name is Michael Thompson, and I bring over 11 years of dedicated service in the field of public assistance and social services. I hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Michigan, where I specialize in community organization and policy analysis. Throughout my career, I have worked extensively with government programs aimed at supporting low-income families, individuals with disabilities, and vulnerable populations. At MIBridges, my role is to help Michigan residents navigate the various public assistance programs, from healthcare coverage to food support and housing aid. My work has been instrumental in bridging the gap between complex government processes and the people who need these services the most. When I’m not helping families access vital resources, I enjoy speaking at community events, educating people on their rights, and advocating for policy changes to improve access to services.
